Who is Margaret Keane?
Margaret Keane is an internationally recognized artist and long time resident of Hawai'i. Her famous artwork is featured in many public collections world wide, including several National Museums. World-famous statesmen, businessmen, and movie stars are collectors of her work, and her paintings have appeared in the backgrounds of many movies.

Keane's works are easily recognized by the children and animals with the characteristic large eyes that have come to be her trademark. She explains, "The eyes I draw on my children are an expression of my own deepest feelings. Eyes are windows of the soul." Her work has traditionally been based on many diverse cultural themes of Hawai'i, piquing the interest of aficionados from around the world

Margaret Keane continues to delight her admirers with more original works. Limited edition laser prints, beautifully preserved through the canvas transfer process are now available from Aquarius Arts.
